Pisa, sunny Sunday afternoon, nothing better than relaxing a bit by getting my nails done before packing for next weeks.
As a start, I had to remove the old nail polish.
Make sure to cover the table with a small towel before you start the whole manicure process and to have the following with you:
- cotton cut in small pieces
- nail polish remover
- wood sticks
- aluminium sheets
- nail file
Pass the nail file over your nail polish to scratch the top coat, then proceed with applying the nail polish remover on the cotton and wrap it firmly around your nail with an aluminium piece.
Keep the nail polish remover on your nails for at least 10 minutes. You can also put your nails in to the LED lamp to speed up a bit the process of nail polish removal.
Nail polish is now ready to be removed with the wood stick.
Now time to prepare your nails for the new application of nail polish.
I am never ever cutting my cuticles but simply applying the Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover and gently pushing them back.
This is also the part of the process where I am shorting my nails using the nail file.
Finally, apply the nail polish. I am wearing Moka by Estrosa together with the Sansationail Base/Top Coat – you can find here more details on this combo 🙂
